Family Counseling and Parenting

Being a parent in an overwhelming job all by itself, and only adding to that stress are the piles of information available to parents. One of the most powerful ways that a child will learn resilience is that they know without a shadow of a doubt that they are loved and accepted for who they are by their parents/caregivers. They need to know that no matter what, your love for them will never change. In knowing this, they have an assurance that they are worthwhile and valued.

How we react and respond to our children always matters. Which is why working on ourselves matters.

Adults/parent's nervous system health and balance is the main influence on the children's nervous system.

What is your awareness of your "stuff" getting in the way of you being the calm, compassionate parent, grandparent, caregiver you fully intend to be?
